The Catskill Distilling Co. Most Righteous Bourbon is made from New York state grains (corn, rye, malt) from Cochecton Mills, mashed and fermented for about 5 days, and then distilled through Sachs’ custom-made twin copper pot stills imported from Germany. The distilled spirits are then poured into 25-gallon charred American oak casks for maturation inside a temperature-controlled warehouse to further enhance the oak flavors. Hence yielding a straight bourbon that’s light, smooth, fairly sweet, soft but a tad bit spicy, and nonetheless delicious in every aspect.
